Edge (tempered line): razor sharp blade hand sharpened by Japanese whetstone. The blade is fully hand forged heat tempered made of carbon steel 1060. Hamon (tempered line): simulated hamon hand polished. Tsuka (handle): Genuine same (Rayskin) and black cotton ito brade. Tang: full tang with 2 mekugi (peg) engraved with the black smiths signature. On the saya it has a picture of a dragon and tiger. To the Chinese the dragon is a mythological symbol standing for immortality, power, strength, happiness, activity and fertility. To the Chinese the tiger is symbolic for courage and bravery.

Comes with a tanto bag.
